About Me

Hi, I’m Savanna! I’m a communicator, storyteller, and advocate for the environment with a background in journalism, social media strategy, and environmental campaigns. I’ve had the privilege of working with organizations like EARTHDAY.ORG and the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters, where I’ve created impactful content while connecting with environmental and political leaders.

As Editor-in-Chief of Central Connecticut State University's The Recorder, I revitalized my university’s newspaper after post-pandemic dormancy. I’ve also reported on climate change in Brazil, and wrote about preparing for the Olympic Games in Paris. Whether it’s crafting content for social media, writing compelling articles, or working on grassroots initiatives, I’m driven by a desire to inspire change.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me hiking, thrift shopping or journaling.
