CCSU is Buzzing Towards Sustainability

Central Connecticut State University is working to increase on-campus sustainability with the addition of honeybee hives.


The two hives in the CCSU apiary are kept by Dr. Alicia Bray, an entomologist and biology professor, and David Serino, the director of Environmental Health and Safety and Cornell University certified Master Beekeeper.
